Meet the Team

Rich Evans
ROGER
This is Rich’s first time performing as part of the New York Theater Festival. In 2024, he
appeared as Bishop Pierre Cauchon in the Wallpaper Company’s production of La
Pucelle, which won for ‘Best Production’, as part of The Fresh Fruit Festival in Lower
Manhattan. More recently, Rich played Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me (Maggie’s Little
Theatre), Mr. Woodhouse/Mrs. Elton in Emma (Red Monkey Theater Group), and Ejlert
Løvborg in Hedda Gabler (Gingerbread Players). Some other notable, past roles
include Howie in Rabbit Hole (City Gate Productions), Finbar Mack in The Weir (City
Gate Productions), Bernard in Boeing, Boeing (Parkside Players) and Dr. Chumley in
Harvey (First String Players). He is delighted to be performing in Suite Sappho with
this talented and supportive cast and crew.

Tiffany Browne-Tavarez
JANUARY
Originally from Salem, Virginia, Tiffany moved to NYC in 2005 to pursue a career in acting as well as enjoy everything the Big Apple has to offer. She has since worked professionally in several productions including plays, indie films, and television series. Tiffany just wrapped filming two independent short films; The Joke by writer/director Nico Taylor and Legacy of Snakes: Fall of Zanzibar by Hahn Films. You may recognize her from her work in two plays that were a part of the 2025 Spring/Summer NY Theater Festival. She is very grateful and excited to be here again.

Feriz Sulejmani
NICKY
Feriz Sulejmani is a New Jersey-based actor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed an intensive four-month training program with the Royal Shakespeare Company in England, honing his classical technique and versatility.
Selected credits from recent productions include Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical and Professor Bhaer in Little Women. Feriz brings charisma, depth, and comedic timing to romantic leads, character roles, and dramatic performances across stage and screen. Feriz is thrilled to bring Nicky to life for the first time on stage and extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible team behind Suite Sappho.

Dorothy Dobkowski
SAPPHO & Associate Director
Dorothy Dobkowski is overjoyed to be part of this captivating ensemble. Dorothy is an actor with The Xavier Company touring drama group, a founding member of The Jalm Experience cabaret ensemble and co-hosts "The 'Cantor'-bury Tales" podcast with Nikki Casseri. She sings regularly at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Clifton as well as various churches in North Jersey and wherever the musical wind opens a door! She is featured on the “Divine Mercy” album from Our Lady of Hope Records, Inc. and records demos for new composers looking to get published. Many thanks to Tiffany for inspired direction, patience, kindness and light, to the skillful and multilayered cast and crew for their joy and commitment to this project, to Jim for creating this piece, his trust and ebullient support and to Ted for making the connections… and paying our diner bills. “If music be the food of love, play on…”

James F. Broderick
Writer-Producer
James Broderick is a professor of English at New Jersey City University. He’s written several works of fiction and non-fiction, and his plays have been produced in New York and northern New Jersey.

Mia Yankovich
Stage Manager
Mia Yankovich is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance, music, and dance, with additional experience in theatrical production. She has worked in a variety of academic and professional theatre settings. Suite Sappho marks her second production as a stage manager, and she is excited to support a thoughtful, collaborative creative process with such a wonderful cast and crew.
